SNAP-Ed Program
Supporting Healthy Lifestyles in Santa Clara County
Due to recent federal policy changes, CalFresh Healthy Living-funded activities will end on March 31, 2026. This means we will be able to support program activities through March 31, 2026. After that point, we will no longer be able to provide services through CalFresh Healthy Living. We know this program has meant a great deal to our community, and we are grateful for your participation. While this program ends, Sourcewise will continue to assist with Cal Fresh screenings and nutrition education sessions.
What We Offer
Nutrition Education Workshops: Classes and workshops tailored to help participants understand the importance of balanced meals and how to make healthier food choices on a budget.
Physical Activity Resources: Encouraging movement and regular exercise through accessible fitness programs designed for older adults and individuals with disabilities.
Access to Community Resources: Information on local food assistance programs and resources to help stretch food dollars and increase access to nutritious food.

1. Why is the SNAP-Ed program ending?
Due to recent federal policy changes, CalFresh Healthy Living–funded activities will end on March 31, 2026.
2. When will the last SNAP-Ed session take place?
Final sessions will run from January 6 through March 16, 2026, with program support ending March 31.
3. Does this affect CalFresh food benefits?
No. The ending of SNAP-Ed does not impact CalFresh food benefits, which is a separate program.
4. Will nutrition education still be available?
Yes. Some nutrition education sessions will continue.
5. Are there resources I can still use after the program ends?
Yes, these nutrition and health resources will remain available: EatFresh.org, CFHLStatewideTraining.org, USDA MyPlate, CalFreshHealthyLiving.org.
