Summer Farmer’s Markets

Summertime brings a chance to stroll through the fabulous farmer’s markets offering fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers and other seasonal treats.

When visiting farmer’s markets, keep in mind a few tips:

  • Carry small bills and change; most markets do not accept credit cards.
  • Bring your own bags to carry your purchases.
  • Leave pets at home; only service animals are allowed, in most cases.
  • Wear comfortable shoes for strolling through all the stalls.

Enjoy the colorful harvest supplied by local growers, and reap the nutritious benefits of a fresh, healthy, and delicious diet.
