Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program

Benefits are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis at community sites throughout Santa Clara County.

What is Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) 

Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) provides eligible seniors the opportunity to purchase fresh, nutritious, unprepared, unprocessed, locally grown fruits, vegetables, honey, and fresh-cut herbs from authorized farmers markets and roadside stands.

2025 SFMNP benefits will be loaded onto a market card for eligible adults to redeem at participating farmers markets around Santa Clara County.

Who Qualifies for This Program? 

  • 60 years of age or older
  • Have not received SFMNP benefit in 2025
  • Household annual income does not exceed more than 185% of poverty level

How To Apply for SFMNP Benefits?

Sourcewise will be visiting select community & senior centers throughout Santa Clara County in the month of September 2025. Interested individuals should visit us in person at one of the SFMNP distribution sites. The SFMNP Tour Sites will be released in early September 2025. Individuals will be required to self-certify with one of our team members that they are eligible to receive the market card and benefits.

SFMNP market cards can be used at participating farmer markets around Santa Clara County. Please confirm with the farmer vendor at the market to confirm they are accepting SFMNP benefits.
