Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program

Benefit cards are provided on a firstcome, first-served basis to interested clients.  

What is the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP)?

Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) provides eligible clients with the opportunity to purchase fresh, nutritious, unprepared, unprocessed, locally grown fruits, vegetables, honey, and fresh-cut herbs from authorized farmers markets and roadside stands. 

Who Qualifies for SFMNP Benefits 

  • 60 years of age or older 
  • Have not received a SFMNP market card in 2026  
  • Household annual income does not exceed more than 185% of poverty level

How to Apply for SFMNP Benefits   

 Steps to Apply: 

  1. Visit in person 
    Go to one of the SFMNP distribution sites. 
  2. Self- Certify you qualify for SFMNP 
    You will need to confirm with a staff member that you meet the program requirements.  
  3. Get your SFMNP benefits
    If you qualify, you will receive a market card to use at farmers’ markets.
