Center For Elderly Suicide Prevention & Grief Counseling (CESP)
Description: Kara provides comprehensive grief support, crisis intervention, and education to individuals and communities facing the difficult realities of grief and loss. Our services offer emotional support and information to those grieving a death or coping with a terminal illness. Kara provides a safe place to express and normalize feelings of grief, to learn to integrate grief and move toward renewed hope and meaning. For individuals and families, we offer both peer support and therapy.
Service hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Fees: Peer Support services are provided for no fee, but donations are suggested. Therapy servies are provided on a sliding scale fee basis.
Intake procedure: Call or submit online form to apply
Wait list: Wait for service varies
Languages spoken, other than English: Spanish
