Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program

Vouchers will be distributed on a first–come, first-serve basis during September 7, 2024 – September 22, 2024 at specific farmers’ markets in Santa Clara County.

The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) provides seniors the opportunity to purchase fresh, nutritious, unprepared, unprocessed, locally grown fruits, vegetables, honey, and fresh-cut herbs from authorized farmers markets and roadside stands.

Who qualifies for this program? 

  • 60 years of age or older
  • Have not received a voucher booklet for 2024 
  • Household annual income does not exceed more than 185% of poverty level

How do I participate in this program?

To best serve Santa Clara County residents, Sourcewise will distribute all SFMNP voucher booklets at Farmers’ Markets throughout Santa Clara County.

At the distrbution sites, participants will need to complete a self certification form to cerfity that they meet the program qualifications. Self-certification forms will be available in:

  • English
  • Spanish
  • Mandarian
  • Vietnamese 

Eligible participants receive a $50 valued booklet to be used at participating farmers’ markets.  Participants have until November 30, 2024 to redeem their SFMNP vouchers. 

Where do I recieve a voucher booklet?

Sourcewise staff will be going on tour to three farmer’s markets located throughout Santa Clara County. The farmers’ markets that we will be attending can be found below:

What if I lose my voucher booklet?

Lost or stolen SFMNP voucher booklets cannot be replaced under any circumstances. Please contact us and we will report lost or stolen voucher booklets to the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA).
